The project at a glance

McPhee Creek is a new MGM Bulk haulage and mining operation, commencing in March 2026.

The site is located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, approximately 80 kilometres south of Marble Bar and around 300 kilometres east of Port Hedland.

Throughout the ramp up, the project will include 46 brand new, purpose built ultra quad road trains, supported by a fleet of brand new Caterpillar 988 and 982 wheel loaders, Service trucks, and light vehicles

On site infrastructure includes a newly constructed workshop and administration facility, a drive through truck wash, and a dedicated operational and maintenance support team to keep everything moving efficiently.

Golden Eagle Camp will support the workforce as staffing levels increase by more than 200 additional team members as the project ramps up.

This is a FIFO operation with multiple roster options available.
Flights will be provided from all major capital cities across Australia,
with the workforce flown directly into site.

Once you step on the plane, everything is covered.
Flights, accommodation, meals and PPE are provided.

The McPhee Creek Iron Ore Project is located near Nullagine in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, approximately 230 km north of Newman and 80 km south of Marble Bar. The region experiences a climate of hot summers and mild winters, with generally low and variable annual rainfall. Haulage operations involve transporting iron ore along a brand new, fully sealed road from the McPhee Creek site to the Roy Hill mine.

Working closely with operations personnel, drivers, supervisors, and key project stakeholders, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient transport activities while actively fostering a positive HSEC culture.

This role suits a dynamic HSEC professional with 3–5 years’ experience in a similar position who is looking to further develop their career with a business that continues to grow from strength to strength.
